Hello, I doubt this is the same, but it never hurts to ask. I have a James J. Hall who married Jane (Catherine) R. Spence. They married in 1850 in Emanuel Cty, GA. Is it possible that the R. in Jane's name could stand for Randals? I know my Jane married Josiah Drew befor she married James J. Hall. Josiah died early, that is the reason for her re-marriage. I do not have a son named John Hall listed in the children of my James and Jane Hall. Where are your James and Jane from?
