I have just received a copy of a new Hall genealogy book, which I would recommend to those interested in the Hall family. It is "George Hall and his Descendants (1603-1669)" by Robert L. Hall. This is the George Hall, wife of Mary, born about 1603 in Devonshire, died in Taunton MA 1669, and had children John, Joseph, Samuel, Charity, Sarah, and Mary. It contains over 4000 descendants, in 693 pages, with index. It was published privately and copies may be purchased for $35 directly from the author: Robert L. Hall, 718 N.W. First Avenue, Grand Rapids, MN 55722-2622. The book is partially documented, has an extensive bibliography. I corresponded some with him over the question of the identity of Samuel Hall, born 1664 in Taunton/ Raynham, MA, grandson of immigrant George, and my ancestor.
