Hi Group James Broom HALL (son of John Ladson & Hettie Willis (BROOM) HALL) who, married Evelin PELLETRAU in 1849, had a string of grocery stores in New York circa 1850/60s. They had one son, that I know of, named Charles Harry HALL b. 1850 in New York. If anyone is researching this family I'd be very pleased to hear from them to compare notes. Both James & his son, Charles are buried in Greenwood cemetery, Brookland, New York. Does anyone know if this cemetery is indexed and/or searchable on line ?.
