Hi, I am looking for anyone who has any information on my Grandfather Jay Gould Hall who was born on July 9, 1884 in Grand Haven, Michigan. He was a telegrapher for Western Union and the Railroad. He married Helen L. Humphrey who was also a Telegrapher, on February 27, 1905 in Muskegon, Michigan. They had a daughter, Helen Sherrill Hall who was born January 18, 1907 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They moved to Texas and in 1915 divorced in Houston, Texas. I do not have any idea where he died and was buried. Jay G. Hall's father was James Hall who was born in 1850 in England. He died of Bright's Disease on August 24, 1886 in Grand Haven, Michigan. He is buried in Lake Forest Cemetery. Jay G. Hall's mother was Sabra Lyon who was born in New York. After the death of her husband she remarried Edwin Poole and they moved to Detroit. Jay G. Hall also had a brother, Charles M. H. Hall who was born November 15, 1874 in Grand Haven, Michigan. He also had a sister, Abby Edna Hall who was born November 24, 1876 in Grand Haven, Michigan and she died in 1892 in Detroit, Michigan. There may have been other children too.
