According to an old letter from 1944 the writer was discussing her great grandfathers, John Pleasant Burton and Richard Hall. She said that Richard had fought in the Revolutionary War for the British. She said further that he is mentioned on the Burton Monument which would be at Spring Mills State Park in Mitchell Indiana. 1. Does anyone know anything about the monument? 2.
