    3. HI. Well I believe that census errors were about as common as the "common cold". I have been doing research now for about 5 years on my various family surnames and on almost all I have found on one census or another age errors and sex of the person as well. I found on one census in TN for my Dismukes family my 3rd great grandparents ages of 65 and 67, then on the next census 10 yrs later, the grandfather listed as 77 and the grandmother listed as 66. Which as we could tell from the two prior census that the 3rd one was way off on everyone listed for age. So yes, census error as many have posted prior the reasons for it were very common I believe in just about all state census. sincerely, anita
