I am posting again to the Hall list in hopes that someone will read this that might be researching the Hall surname in Belmont County, Ohio. I have a Sarah Jane Hall who married Hiram Franklin McConnell on the 3 July 1868 in Belmont County, Ohio. It is believed that the McConnell family resided in Belmont Co. Ohio during this time period give or take a couple of years. Do not know if there were any Halls who might have been related to Sarah Jane residing there at the time of the marriage. I have data on the McConnell line but I am stuck with Sarah Jane Hall. I would like to find out who her parents were etc. It is believed that Sarah Jane died sometime between 9 Aug. 1879 (shortly after birth of last child) and June 1880 when the 1880 Census was taken which lists Hiram Franklin "Frank" as being a Widower. I can't seem to locate any records on Sarah Jane's death, nor any burial records/cemetery records for her either. I have searched surrounding counties and can't seem to find anything out about her at all. It is known that Hiram Franklin McConnell marries a second time to Deliah/Meliah Moore in Harrison County, Ohio on the 4 Aug. 1880.
