I'm new to this list and wonder if anyone has any clues to this couple? Elizabeth Hall m. Joseph Faris/Phares 1729 in Philadelphia, PA. Is this the same Joseph Faris/Phares who is known to have settled in Marsh Creek (now Gettysburg, PA) by 1741? These Hall men also settled at the same time: Richard Hall, James Hall, Adam Hall and Edward Hall. An Edward Hall is shown dead in 1775, aged 75 with Wm. Hall and Edward Hall his heirs. Are these Hall men connected to the family of Elizabeth Hall Faris/Phares? Does anyone have Hall in Philadelphia or York Co. in these time frames? Will certainly appreciate any clues!
