    3. Thank you for writing. That might be my Silas. He was born on December 14, 1756 in Plainfield, Ct.?? and died May 19, 1850 in Horseheads, Chemung Co., NY. Father was John Hall, and Mother, Olive Spaulding. Other siblings to Silas were: Olive (1745), John (1747), Asa (4-20-1752), and Elias (10-2-1754) all born in Plainfield. Also, Alpheus (1-30-1757) born in Rutland, Vt., also Sylvine, Dolly (6-6-1762), Ruena (3-30-1765), Lucy99-8-1767), Daniel(12-30-1769), and Bela(2-3-1772) born in Windsor, Berkshire Co., Ma. Silas married Mary "Martha" Jay. She was rumored to be the daughter of John Jay, born 2-16-1762 and died before 1823. Their children were: James, Francis, Abdiah, Ruth, Mary, Pheobe, Joshua, Catey, and Martha Jay "Patty" Hall. Martha Jay Hall was my direct ancestor, born 1798 in Binghamton, Broome Co., NY and married 10-15-1814 in Chenango, Broome Co., NY. to William Henry Hardy, born in Nottingham West NY/? Westerly, RI on 4-16-1785 and died 12-30-1871. Other spouse, Esther Dowd. Anyone sharing this family please contact me, willing to share! or anyone able to confirm or add to this information. Appreciate all leads! Thank you, Vicki, for answering my request.
