Didn't we have "Universal Military Training" or something of that sort until after the Vietnam War? I know that the men in WW2 had to register for the draft, and if my memory serves me right - that's part of the thing that had this country so up in arms during the Vietnam War - because so many young people burned their draft cards, etc., etc??? At any rate, wouldn't those records be stuffed into some storage facility somewhere, too? Jan T
