    1. Lewis Hall -- FOUND IT ----HIRAM SMITH Mike Clark
    2. Okay, Have solved a part of the puzzle dealing with Lewis/Louis Hall. Remember he is the one that had the following earmark: In 1887 Lewis Hall was at the Wayne county, Poor farm and was awarded a $2,000 pension. His granddaughter, Mrs Hiram Smith, convinced the Superintendant of the Farm, Mr. Wilson, that she and her husband wanted to care for Lewis Hall in their home. However Lewis Hall died at 82 on February 13, 1887. He was born in Kentucky. In the 1850 census we have the following: Louis Hall 1805 Tennessee E. L. Hall 1811 Kentucky H. Hall 1828 Illinois MALE Letta Hall 1831 Illinois Female Poly Hall 1833 IL female Lou Hall 1838 IL Male E. Hall 1840 IL Female F. Hall 1842 IL Male Nan?Hall 1844 IL female We know from the Jones book on Wayne that Letta, aka Letha, married Mike Clark son of James and Nancy Book Clark who happens to be neighbors of the Halls. Any ideas for the rest of these Hall children. Any suggestions for the wife of Louis Hall?
