    3. Hi, Just discovered this URL today, HALL-L@rootsweb.com and subscribed. I am writing this in the blind for I know nothing about it. Hopefully, some one can enlighten me on its protocol, HALL archive potential, etc. My G3GF Daniel HALL was born in Chester Co PA, c1795. He and his older brother William HALL b. c1791 left Chester Co and show up in the 1820 PADauphinCo Census as young married fathers. Daniel HALL's descendents are pretty well documented from that time on. Family lore says that the HALLs left Donegal County, Ireland and arrived in America in 1734. They were Presbyterians. So far, I have not been able to make any parental or siblings connection with the nine HALL families listed in the 1790PAChesterCo Census. It is quite possible that NJ or DE HALLs may be potential connections. I have information, not substantiated yet, that John and (Mary?) HALL, also in the1820PADauphinCo Census may be their parents. Possibly, one of the William HALLs in and around Brandywine could be Daniel HALL's GGF. Question---- Drawing on the knowledge and expertise of the reader's searches for HALL and/or other family connections in the 1700PAChesterCo religious, civil, military, LDS and other records sources, what would you suggest to be the most logical and productive procedure for me to progress from my present position? I am in Illinois but still can get back to PA several times a year. Thank you all for your time in reading this! Any information will be gratefully welcomed. Sincerely, Ray Hall
