Today is the 200th birthday of Hanna TREAT who married Daniel W. HALL. Both are buried in the Old Hurst/Teagarden Cemetery in Marion County Arkansas. This Cemetery has been almost abandonded for many years. There is a group of the Hurst Family trying to put some money together for a perpetual maintenance fund, and trying to get legal access etc. to the cemetery. On Hanna's 200th birthday would be a good day to drop a check in the mail to the folks who are trying very hard to restore this cemetery. So far the fence has been restored, to keep cattle out, all of the brush has been cut and some of the larger trees are in the process of being removed. Many hours of chain saw and weed eater labor has been spent by a small group of family led by Jearldine and Cora Hurst. Your efforts to help this worth cause would really be appreciated.
