My Thomas Hall was born in Maine. This according to the death certificate of his daughter , Ada Eleanore Hall Yarborough in Hill County Texas. He was married to ? Sampson just before the Civil War. They took a long ride on their honeymoon. They settled somewhere near Springfield ( Mo or Ill ). He was an officer in the Union Army. I have a photo of his family... He had another daughter, Jenevive Hall. The mother and girls came south to La. after the war. Ada married there but Jenevive returned north to live with her father. Any hints would be great. Pat
