Looking for parents of James C(olwell?) HALL who claimed his parents were born in SC and he was born in 1824 possibly in Fayette Co, AL. He had at least three =probable= brothers John A., Houston, and Peter and at least one sister Julia. He married Elizabeth Elvira SHAW in Winston Co, MS. E. E.'s parents were James SHAW and Jane (BAGWELL?) who were also from SC. It has been reported that J. C.'s parents were killed by a tornado in Fayette Co, AL during the late 1820's or 1830's.
