Hi Everyone, I found the following query on the Unknown County page for Ohio, posted by Jafra M. Sutherland on Thursday, November 26, 1998 "Seeking more information on background of John Lawrence Hall born in Ohio 3/15/1825 son of Stephen Hall. John L. Hall had at least one younger sister. Left home at early age after death of mother and disagreement with father who remarried. He spoke with heavy "Dutch" type accent, may have been Mennonite. He married in Indiana in 1848. Any help with research would be appreciated." I have sent an email to the person with no response, so I am assuming that they are no longer at the email address provided, so I am hoping that someone on the list may know how to reach this person. I have a John A. Hall who was born in Ohio, probably Cincinnati in 1825, and who was married in Tippecanoe County Indiana in Oct of 1848. Several of my Hall family ancestors have shown up with their middle initials changing, so I am not concerned about the difference in the middle names, especially since Lawrence was a name used in most of the successive generations.
