I've traced my Hall line back to Mecklenburg Co. VA 1781. He is Ambrose Hall. Closely related to William and wife Francis. Also, very close by is James and wife Martha. A distance away is John Hall. I have suspected for some time that these Hall's were descended from Instance and wife Mary of Bristol Parish, Prince George County. James appears to be son of James, son of Instance. John appears to be son of Instance. William may be the youngest son of Instance. In addition, I came upon a record of a William in Pr. Geo. that mentions John of Mecklenburg. Co. Any thoughts? Oh. Forgot to mention. I have sent to Karen and Beth Groce my abstracts of the HALL'S of Mecklenburg Co., VA, in Deed Books 7 & 8. I'll let you know when they are posted at the site. Godspeed.....Patrick
