Hi, Everyone! I'm new to this list; I have so many questions regarding my HALL family but I'll keep it brief for my first posting. What I'd like to know is who was the first child born to Ernest Leonard HALL, b. 4 Apr 1880 in Brodnax, Brunswick Co., VA, d. 11 Dec 1956 in Hickory, Catawba Co., NC and Marie JAMESON (Jamieson, Jamison) b. Oct 1887 in Greenville, Greenville Co., SC, d. 29 Sep 1915 in Danville, Pittsylvania Co., VA. My father, Clyde Beverly HALL, b. 23 Apr 1912 in Danville, VA, d. 28 July 1983 in San Diego, CA, always said he was an only child but his birth certificate says he was the second child and the first child had not died at the time of Clyde's birth. He may have felt like an only child since he was raised by his Aunt Della after his mother, Marie, died when he was only 3-years old. (I have not found "Aunt Della", yet.) Also, if I could find guardian papers for "Aunt Della" caring for Clyde, that would be a big help (I think). ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
