I Just started so send a not about why I am doing my family tree, I hit the wrong button and it went, without me getting it done sorry about that. My name is Hope, I have been doing my family tree now for almost 9 years. I started by mail, I did not have a computer. I fell into a lot of road blocks. You see my Father died when I was 1 1/2 years old and he was 30 years old. His family kept every thing to them self's. So I only new what my Mother told us. My Mom died almost 20 years ago now and I was only 20 and I felt she was trying so hard to trace her roots and never had the time to get it done She was a very loving and caring and giving person. She wanted this done so she could give us our roots, She use to tell story that her mother or father told her about life back then. I have ton's of picture of her and some of the family in the old days I say cause anything in 1800s is old to me LOL. for me it has been a hard road to get things and seeing I did not have Aunt,Uncle,Grandparents or any one to give me hits on where to look, just a few things my Mother saved and give us to go on. I have found my self down and stuck on some sure names and have stop working on it. But now I am still working hard as ever to get as much information as I can on all my surnames. I have found family in Germany and even know we don't both speak English I can use the computer to help. I also have found a book on some of the Halls and am willing to share the information. I feel now at 40 years old I am going to be working on this till the end and I will someday have it all done. Then I would like to make it a book and Have it say to My Mother You will always live on in our hearts and we love you...... Hope CGomez5077@aol.com
