Pat, Your "letter" brought tears to my eyes. My Mother died when I was 10. My father was a SOB. He destroyed almost everything of hers. Not because he couldn't bear to have it remind him of her. Because his "girlfriend" couldn't handle that he hadn't left my mother while she lay dying in the hospital. All I have of her is a few trinkets and what little I remember of her. There is a Hall that has a lot of info on the family, but for some reason won't share it with me. Why I don't know. I only met him once for a very short time. He may not have much or anything on my mother. But anything on my mother's family would make me feel like at least I knew some of the people she knew.
