Catawba is not, nor has it ever been in Rockbridge Co., VA. The Catawba Valley is now located in present day Roanoke Co., VA. It was Orange - then Augusta - then Botetourt - and parts of it became Montgomery Co. - and then finally Roanoke Co. There are more children than listed - and their birthdates are very wrong also.
