I am looking for descendents of William Franklin or Francis HALL who served in the Civil War. He died about 1910 probably in Ballenger, Runnells Co.TX. He was married to Mary Catherine "Kate" LANIER, born about 1845. I am hoping that someone will have some viable information on this family, especially the family of Mary Catherine "Kate" LANIER. I am a descendent of Kate's sister Amanda Almeda LANIER and I am at a brick wall. Kate and AManda had sisters, Parthenia and Martha. Parthenia married a Cpt SMITH. Martha married a MANLEY in Lauderdale Co AL or COlbert CO. AL. Amanda, my gggrandmother married George W. LOVELACE. I believe that Wm. Franklin or Francis HALL and Mary Catherine LANIER had at least these children: Mary Margaret Anna HALL Robert Alonzo HALL Irvin Preston HALL This family apparently lived near Birmingham, AL at one time and possibly Texas and Oklahoma.
