I do agree that it is harder to know if you are giving info on the right person when responding to a post like this but knowing how often we as researchers grasp at any chance of a straw out there I think any type of request is worth a try. I reponded earlier to this post and because there was no location or dates it's quite possible that my Minnie is not the same one. I just know that there are alot of very kind people out there that have responded to my vague requests that I had very little info on and I have hit the jackpot. I agree that all specifics should be included with postings but don't pass up that small chance that someone could be out there with your info if your just making you requests on names. Those needles are all out there and someone has them!!! I agree. Sometimes that is all the info we have! Go ahead and delete them if you wish, but I read them all, because just one little blurb may lead me to a gateway through the brick wall.
