My Hall grandparent, Gilbert came to Oregon in mid-1850's from Oneida County, New York, where he was born in about 1818. His census records for late in his life said that his parents were from Vermont. I have no names, or clues about them. Gilbert married an Emily Kilbourn, or Kilbourne, or Kilborn or even Kilboural, who was born in Oneida Co., NY in 1820. The family had only one child, Lois, born in 1841 in Oneida Co. Gilbert Hall is such an important sounding name. I wish someone had him, or any other Gilbert Hall in their line that might be a clue. Thanks for reading this message.
