My g-g-grandmother, REBECCA HALL, b. ca 1790, in Virginia: She came to KY with her daughter, Melvina HALL BUSH, and her husband, Mahiel BUSH. They lived in Morgan Co. KY, and Estill Co. KY. She is with them in the 1850 census, but not the 1860 census. I found a death record for a Rebecca HALE in 1857 (Morgan Co., KY). Is it possible that she has also been recorded in various records as having her name spelled HALE? TIA.

In 1840, there was a James Hall family in Hillsdale County, with James Hall age 40-50, and with a daughter age 10-15 who could have been Charlotte. So you might want to check Hillsdale county records and see if they either have the marriage of Charlotte, or a probate record for James Hall. I'm not related.
