I live about 35 miles from Hall, NY., so I might be able to look for you if you need more info, or ask my friend who is related into this Hall branch from Hall, NY. Joyce Wiedrich >> Joyce, The Halls you know in Ontario co. may be mine. I am descended from Gen. Amos Hall, who came from a long line of early Halls in Guilford CT, and is considered one of the pioneers of Ontario co. NY. I have just discovered this line in the past few weeks. I have quite a bit of information but would like more -- will be happy to share. I would be very interested to see if your friends are related to me! 3. My great grandfather Arthur Andrew Hall b 15 Apr 1880 seems to be a nowhere man for me so far. In his last years he moved to Little Kansas, Delaware, OK with his brother Patrick and family and died in Siloam Springs, Benton, AR. I attempted to get his death certificate from AR Vital records, but they do not have it and indicate that the funeral home probably failed to send it in. The 1910 and 1920 Oklahoma Census indicate that he and his wife Laura Jarvis lived in Henrietta, OK near her family but his birth place is listed as Arkansas in 1910 and as Texas in 1920 so I am running into dead ends everywhere. The family is scattered and information as yet has been unobtainable. If anyone has a clue I'd be very appreciative for your help. Best regards, Terry and Patty Garrett http://www.telepath.com/tgarrett mailto:tgarrett@technologist.com Have a Great Day!!

    3. Greetings. Recently came across info concerning my Hall line. It's a bit sketchy, but any additional information would sure be welcome. Charles William Hall : b. (?) d. (?) Wife: Stockwell : b.(?) d. (?) Children : Henry Homer Hall : b. Sept 1883 (1), St. Lawrence Co, NY, d. May 1953, WY ( St. Paul, MN was his home) Charles William Hall parental line was Scott. His occupation was that of contractor and builder. The Stockwell parental line was Dane. Henry Homer Hall received his primary and secondary education at Grand Rapids and Big Rapids, MI. Which leads me to believe that the Hall's moved from NY to MI during the 1880's. It is possible that these Hall's were from Canada, entering the US through St. Lawrence, Co. It is also possible that there is Inuit blood in the family line. Thanks for the read and your time. jon d. gallock : lock@gol.com

    2. Halls In Tenn ... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Joline, Where was the Hall Plantation (I know, sounds like that might be your question)? My Halls were in Como, TN during the 1830's, at least. My Great Grandfather, Robert Thomas Hall, was born there October 22, 1842, and he later died in Charlotte, AR. Any connections? Frank Clemmer ====================================================== Dear Frank ... Wish I had more data tonight. Ida Susan Hall married Joseph Grey Street in 1869, I believe in Tenn. Our family cook, now deceased, was the descendant of one of the Hall plantation workers. Amazing synchronicity, I know. I now live in San Antonio, Texas, the home of my birth. My father was Hall Park Street Jr. My son, James Patrick Robinson III, may know more tomorrow. He has made great strides in our family genealogy, but the Halls seem to elude us. I hope that we can find out more together. Regards from Joline Woods Street Robinson ... 3. Christy, Pat, Regina After reading your past messages they seemed close enough for me to inquire if any of you have a potential connection with my New York to Michigan Hall line: My first identifyable ancester was ABNER C. HALL who had moved into what later became Yates Co., N.Y., in time for the 1800 Federal Census, with his wife PHEBE LANE, b. 1 Jan 1772 in N.Y. I have no information on Abner’s parents, place of birth, or date of birth except that the census puts him between 26 and 44 (which would put his birth between 1756 and 1774). Abner and Phebe stayed in Yates Co. into the 1830’s raising two boys and six girls. Abner and Phebe left for Wood Co., Ohio but the children (including my ggg grandfather JOHN, his wife WATY BRIGGS and their first child, HARRY) all moved to the Macomb Co., Michigan area and settled there, with Abner joining them soon after they arrived (I assume Phebe died in Ohio). If any of this is familiar to you all, or anyone else, I need help in finding out where Abner and Phebe came from before 1800!!! Howard Hall Saver@hal-pc.org
