    2. Karen Groce
    3. I'm sorry folks. I guess I had a case of the stupids yesterday when I sent the new URL for my HALL page. The correct URL is: http://home.midsouth.rr.com/bethg/hall/hall_main.html instead of what I sent. Sorry to cause a mix-up on this. I'll try to do better. :-) Remember this is just a temporary location and will be changing probably in about a week or two. I'll send a notice of the new address when I get it. He had at least three =probable= brothers John A., Houston, and Peter and at least one sister Julia. He married Elizabeth Elvira SHAW in Winston Co, MS. E. E.'s parents were James SHAW and Jane (BAGWELL?) who were also from SC. It has been reported that J. C.'s parents were killed by a tornado in Fayette Co, AL during the late 1820's or 1830's. 1. LOUANSEY HALL
    2. J. E. Leonard
    3. Looking for info, parents, siblings, etc., on Louansey Hall. Not sure where she was born, but birth date I have on her is 9/6/1840, d. aft. 1885 in Crockett Co., TN. She is listed in Rutherford Co., TN, in 1857 as she was married 12/30/1857 to Jno. P. Hunt. Her name as listed on marriage record was "Luanna". From my grandfather Hunt, I received a copy of a Bible record of marriages, and her name is spelled Louansey. She is buried, along with her husband, in Floyd's Chapel Cemetery near Maury City, Crockett Co., TN. Her headstone at the cemetery reads "Tuonsey" Hunt. I don't know the reason behind all the different spellings, etc., but would like to find about her. I can only assume that she might have been born somewhere either in or around Rutherford Co., TN. Anyone out there have any info on this Hall? Would greatly appreciate anything anyone has and will share what I have on hers and John P. Hunt's descendants. Thanks-----Jackie

    3. Hello, I doubt this is the same, but it never hurts to ask. I have a James J. Hall who married Jane (Catherine) R. Spence. They married in 1850 in Emanuel Cty, GA. Is it possible that the R. in Jane's name could stand for Randals? I know my Jane married Josiah Drew befor she married James J. Hall. Josiah died early, that is the reason for her re-marriage. I do not have a son named John Hall listed in the children of my James and Jane Hall. Where are your James and Jane from? What time period? \cathy pierce@cftnet.com ChaManning@aol.com wrote: > Does anone know anything on this family? 3. Going over Rev. Sol. abstract records I found the following entry for John Hall. Does anyone know of him? HALL, John. S2259, VA Line, appl 6 Oct 1835 Williamson Co TN, sol was b in 1748 in King & Queen Co VA & he lived there at enl & at age of 17 he moved with his father to Mecklenburg Co VA & in 1817 moved to Rutherford Co TN for 2yrs then to Williamson Co TN. Looking close at this record, there must be a mistake. At the age of 17 the year would be 1765 which contradicts that he enlisted in King & Queen Co. Let alone that he enlisted for the Revolution. One 1820 census index shows the following John Hall's. The aterisk (*) if for a younger Hall. Rutherford Co., TN. HALL, John- 211111-01010 HALL, Jonathan- 400001-12010 *HALL, John- 010100-10100 Williamson Co., TN HALL, John- 001101-00201 HALL, John H-100001-11302 There are no pages listed for these folks in this index. However, another index book lists the following, with pages, but without family info. Rutherford Co., TN. HALL, John- pg 84. HALL, John- pg 90. HALL, Jonathan- pg 79. Williamson Co., TN. HALL, John- pg 59. HALL, John H- pg 64. Per an 1830 index, without family info, I found one John Hall in Williamson Co., TN on page 236. An 1840 index shows the following. HALL, John- 00000000001-0000000001, pg 199. The man is 80 and under 90 and should be the Rev. Sol. of question. On the same page are some possible kin. HALL, Aaron-1100001-1111101 HALL, Anderson-120001-002101 HALL, John=01000001-00101001 Does anyone know of these folks? Godspeed.....Patrick
