    3. I have 2 HALL lines I am researching. The first is the HALL line of VA in the early 1700s. The parents of John, Thomas, and Hugh are thought to be Robert HALL and Elizabeth HARRISON but I have been told that this is not proved. I would like some help there. The 2nd line is of my paternal g-grandmother. I have nothing but some census data on Archibald, though I do have more info on the STONEs.....HELP!! 3. I have just received a copy of a new Hall genealogy book, which I would recommend to those interested in the Hall family. It is "George Hall and his Descendants (1603-1669)" by Robert L. Hall. This is the George Hall, wife of Mary, born about 1603 in Devonshire, died in Taunton MA 1669, and had children John, Joseph, Samuel, Charity, Sarah, and Mary. It contains over 4000 descendants, in 693 pages, with index. It was published privately and copies may be purchased for $35 directly from the author: Robert L. Hall, 718 N.W. First Avenue, Grand Rapids, MN 55722-2622. The book is partially documented, has an extensive bibliography. I corresponded some with him over the question of the identity of Samuel Hall, born 1664 in Taunton/ Raynham, MA, grandson of immigrant George, and my ancestor.

    2. Louann, hello! My family of Halls had births at Pennline, and Linesville, Crawford Co. on the state line of Pa. and Ohio, too. It's another hotbed of Halls, as is the county across the state line, Ashtabula, Ohio, Pierpont twp.. I've not got the genealogy figured out there's so many and can't even find my own family there (I went there in person). But I do encourage you as there are Halls there. I'm searching Tomas Hall b. ca. 1825, in PA, but both parents, another Thomas, were b. inVt. dates, places, and names unknown. The younger Thos. was said to have a brother William M. Hall. I wishI could be of more assistance. Do keep my family in mind as you continue your research. Thanks. Ruth Sanford Reetz, searching 20 years for Ebenezer Conklin Sanford, b. 1820, NY. At Pennline I found a Cornelius Hall - is that your line? Louann Hall wrote: > I am searching for the parents of Alexander Lawson Hall. 3. This might work easier: go to http://inter.gov.nb.ca/supply/archives/privrecs/index.htm from here click on the line of "Irish Immigrants Database 1845-1852" then choose the "search by name" option This should work, if it does not, I will find yet another shorter path name Please let me know if this does or does not work. Thanks Jay The full address is: http://www.gov.nb.ca/scripts/supply/archives/privrecs/irish1845-1852/ind ex.asp make sure the ex.asp is included It shows up correctly in my sent box but it might be showing in your in box over two lines. It only works if you type in the whole thing Sorry for the inconvience. Maybe there is a way to find it by starting at: http://www.gov.nb.ca and adding in the rest later. -jay > Found the following group of Hall in New Brunswick Canada imigration > search > The database contains 2 Halls.
