    1. Hanna TREAT
    2. Don Ott
    3. Today is the 200th birthday of Hanna TREAT who married Daniel W. HALL. Both are buried in the Old Hurst/Teagarden Cemetery in Marion County Arkansas. This Cemetery has been almost abandonded for many years. There is a group of the Hurst Family trying to put some money together for a perpetual maintenance fund, and trying to get legal access etc. to the cemetery. On Hanna's 200th birthday would be a good day to drop a check in the mail to the folks who are trying very hard to restore this cemetery. So far the fence has been restored, to keep cattle out, all of the brush has been cut and some of the larger trees are in the process of being removed. Many hours of chain saw and weed eater labor has been spent by a small group of family led by Jearldine and Cora Hurst. Your efforts to help this worth cause would really be appreciated. (BTW- Hanna's grave marked is broken but there, and they want to restore it if possible) Send a check to: Jearldine (Hurst) McNeil 911 Spring St. Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653 870-425-1713 Don Ott

    1. MERRIMAN BORAMON STEVENSON HALL PARENTS
    2. Barbara Dewing
    3. I haven't written to this list in quite a while, so in case we have new subscribers, I want to post my brick, and I do mean brick wall. My cousins and I have searched for years, obits, cemeteries, all that we know to search, LDS files, Merriman Boramon Stevenson (M.B.S.) Hall was born Dec. 27, 1819 in Knox County, Ohio. He married Mary Ann Ross in 1843. To them two living children were born. Joseph and Melinda Hall. In his obit in Stroud, Okla. it doesn't say a thing about parents; says after his first wife died, he went to Iowa, remarried Alcinda Hedges and by her had two living children. One, my Grandfather Thomas Robert Hall who had one of the first stores in Douglas, KS and in 1899 he moved to Okla., I.T.and had one of the first stores in Stroud, I.T. Okla. Lincoln County. Have information on his first and second wife but zero on M.B.S. Hall. By the way he was my Gr. Grandfather. Alcinda Hedges was my Gr. Grandmother. Lot on her but it is as if he had no parents. On a census in 1900 in Okla. someone said his parents were born in Maryland. No names. Any and all help or suggestions would be welcome. I have helped several find their Hall roots who like me couldn't find just one person. A lot of people have helped me but this one blank is really frustrating. I don't like to keep posting it but maybe the right person will read this and have some idea. Thanks for everything/ God Bless you all and don't quit. We will eventually know from whence we came. Barbara

    1. John Hall
    2. Does anyone know about this John Hall, who I believe is the son of Henry Hall. JOHN3 HALL was born Bef. 1793 or abt. 1800 in Anson County, North Carolina, and died aft. 1820. He married AMY WINLOE2 February 21, 1814 in Maury County, Tennessee2. Notes for JOHN HALL: There was a John Hall was in the 1820 census of Wayne county, Illinois, However he was not present or willing to sign the surety bond for his father, trial for slander. He died before his father's estate was settled. According to Sharon and Clark this John was born bef. 1793. However, if this is true, then the John in the 1820 census is not the John of Henry Hall born in Georgia. 1820 Wayne County, IL Census Page 327 John Hall over 21,wife under 21, 2 sons under 21, 1dau. under 21.
