    1. HALL RESEARCH
    2. I am researching the branch of the Hall Family known as the (BUFFALO SET) of Hall's. I am familiar with John M. Hall, b. 1822 in Rowan Co., NC d.11-25-1913 at Meally, Ky, his three wives, and the family to the present day. His parents are my unknowns. His father was David and mother was Betty Music. I only know that David died when John was an infant, of their births, deaths, and ancestors I know nothing. I live within an hours drive of where John is burried, and his grave still has the marker of the 14th KY. My family still resides at Buffalo, and I have some first hand knowledge of the Johnson Co.,KY area.....Ron Hall

    1. James Hall b. 1812 Blackburn, England
    2. R. L. Buzz Bower
    3. I recently found James Hall's burial location and received his obituary which told me he was born in Blackburn, England in 1812 and came to the US when he was nine years old to North Carolina. He was married to Rachel Hill in 1830, had one child and Rachel died in 1836. James married Lavina Head in Jan. 1838 and the family moved to Iowa via Illinois where they had a son. They were in the Iowa 1840 census. I would like to connect with Hall's that could be his siblings or parents. Anyone from Blackburn, England that migrated to North Carolina? Since getting this information on James I have not had a chance to see what passenger lists are available in 1821 from England. Sure would appreciate any help on "my brick wall".
