It has been a while since I posted a query regarding Sarah Evelyn HALL, my great grandmother. She was born in KY about 1845 and married Thomas Allen WILSON in Laclede County, MO on October 8, 1867. She died about 1880 in Laclede County. Hope someone can help me find her parents and siblings. Thanks for any help. Phyllis in Colorado

I am searching for a lead on my James Henry Hall born in Maryland in 1812. He was married in Cincinnati in 1834. Does anyone have a Hall family that was in Maryland in 1810-12 and moved to Ohio before 1834? Sincerely Rodney Hall Subknave@msn.com
John, although I did not find an Ernest HALL during my past five years of research, my evidence indicates that my ancestor, John HALL, Sr., along with his twelve year old son, Joshua, emigrated from Wales to Baltimore, MD., in 1720. This is about all the information I have regarding Wales. I don't know where in Wales they were from. I have not done any further research for Wales either. Right now, I'm busy revising my two volume HALL history books which I published about one year ago. If you find a connection of your and my HALLs, please let me know. Also, let me know if I can be of further help to you. I am still searching for parents of my Gr. Grandfather Merriman Boramon Stevenson (M.B.S..) Hall, born in 1819 in Knox County, Ohio. Your Hall name sounds familiar, one married to a Hill. Will check it out and let you know. Barbara
Haven't posted for a while, so I'd thought I'd post for my Richard again, along with some new info. Sometime between the 1855 and 1860 census's of Middletown, Delaware Co. NY, my gr grandfather, Richard Hall was bound out. In 1860, he was living with Samuel and Margaret (English) Hill, along with Charles Bowers, another bound out child?. However, Richard is not with any of the Halls in Middletown in 1855. Samuel and Margaret ARE on the 1855, but neither of the children are with him. Vicki
John P. Hall b. abt 1815 SC, married 1842 in Sevier Co., Ark. to Elizabeth Chandler. On 1850 Census they are in Texas, 1860 Bell Co., Tx. J.P. Hall a wd. Any and all Info. appreciated.
Anyone with ties to Hall family(ies) in Ozark Mountains of Missouri, please contact me. I got a lead today that one of the children of Samuel Hall and Martha Brewington Hall moved to that area. Purportedly, some of the family ran around with the James Gang. Thanks. Russell D. James Delta, Colorado neri@dmea.net
Hi All, I am looking for Kennis Hugh Hall born 8/30 year NK Logan, West Virginia Thelma Steel 3/23/1906 Logan, West Virginia wife of Kennis died 7/2/1991 Wayne, West Virginia Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is all the information I have to go on. Thanks Chudy
Hello to all my New Cousins and Cousins to be.Hall cousins I have found and the ones yet to be found. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and an even better New Year. May the Lord bless and keep you safe all the year long. I tried to write to each one individually but find I don't have correct address for all and there may be more Hall cousins. I hope. I am a descendant of Merriman Boramon Stevenson (M.B.S.) Hall and Alcinda Hedges. Merriman was first married to Mary Ann Ross; they had two living children, Joseph and a daughter. Believe her name was Malinda. Have it on my database. I know there are a lot of Hall names, but if any of this is familiar.glad to exchange info. His second marriage to Alcinda after Mary died is who I descend from but also related to Mary Ann Ross children. There are many Joseph relatives out there. Merriman was born in 1819 in Knox County, Ohio. Also married Mary Ann Ross there. After her death, he moved to Iowa where he met and married Alcinda Hedges around 1860. My Grandfather, Merrimans' son was Thomas Robert Hall born in Iowa in 16 Sep. 1863. Also a brother named William. Several other children that died at birth or at an early age, bef. marrying. My Grandfather and his dad Merriman and family all moved to Rose Hill, KS around 1890. He married my Grandmother Hannah Ellen Yeager in 1889 in the Yeager Homestead in Rose Hill, KS. During the run on OKLA. the family or at least part of it moved to Okla. My roadblock is Merriman. We have looked for 20 years+ and find no parents for him, although there is on one census taken in OKla. where Merriman said his parents was born in Maryland. No names anywhere. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Barbara from OK, now in MO.

Hello, This came on GEN-BOOKS-L@rootsweb.com Lil Marlau ========== Subject: [GB] Hall Families Date: Wed, 15 Dec 1999 14:48:33 EST From: Penlin304@aol.com To: GEN-BOOKS-L@rootsweb.com The Hall Family Is one of the featured families in our book "The Gibson and Related Families" Copyright 1991, still in print, still for sale. William Hall, b.prob.1760 Eng., d. in Va. (WV), wife Mary Jones. There is information about this Hall family and their descendants into the late 1800's. The book shows how the Hall families, through the Lowther family, are related to some of the most interesting and famous Royal Families in Europe back to year 107. This is truly a Genealogical Publication, and one you will be proud to own. There are stories about their lives. It has a brief history of some of the areas where they lived. There are relationships to other families. (The Hall families marry into 67 other families, and also connects to other families, giving you more relatives and ancestors to be proud of.) The Hall families were early settlers of Western Virginia. They played an active role in, and helped to shape the communities in which they lived. Through the White family they are related to the White family member who was born on the Mayflower, and to the two White brothers who married Gibson sisters. The information in our book was proved by county court records, census records, National Archives records, history records, correspondence with family members, and other records. This book has an easy to understand numbering system; there is a number for each person in the book. This system will take you through the book page by page, forward or backward, branch by branch, family line by family line. This system also gives current generations a chance to connect their family into their branch or line by having a knowledge of only one or two persons. Without having a copy of the book, it is hard to properly and accurately enjoy ALL the information concerning your branch of a family, and to use the book as the reference it is meant to be. Some members of the Hall family are referenced to many pages in the book that contain additional information about that person or family. For a description of "The Gibson and Related Families" book, go to our website http://home.att.net/~j.m.linder This book will be mailed to you within a day or two after a check or money order for $35.00 is received. Hi group I am seeking any info regarding Frederick Ernest Hall, son of Thomas & Annie (Thomson) Hall, who was born 1864 at "Clifton ", Anakie, near Geelong, Victoria, Australia. He left his family from Melbourne sometime after 1888 and all trace of him has been lost. Did he marry, did he have a family and where & when did he die etc. etc ??. Family hearsay has it that he may have gone to NSW and got a job as a Shire Clerk. >From Ian W.Anderson < ander@midcoast.com.au >

My apologies for going off-topic...But imo, to much is being made about cookies. I monitor my cookies and from time to time, I will look at the files themselves to see what is in them. Cookies are simply a tool...they may be used for good or for bad. Avoiding all sites that use cookies is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Cookies don't "read" your hard drive in other words, they can't read other documents or files you have stored on your hard drive. On the other hand...there are some loopholes in IE and probably netscape, I don't know because I don't use netscape very often. There are some loopholes that could allow 'malicious code' to be executed. I highly encourage anyone running windows to keep an eye on this: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/. From here you can download patches as new vulnerabilities are addressed. Here are some websites you may wish to read to get more information on cookies: http://www.microsoft.com/info/cookies.htm (Microsoft's FAQ) http://help.netscape.com/kb/consumer/970226-2.html (Netscape's FAQ) http://www.cookiecentral.com/ A very good site that addresses the good side and the bad sides of cookies Meg -----Original Message----- From: charles mills [mailto:cmills@ipa.net] Sent: Sunday, December 19, 1999 4:15 AM To: HALL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: cookies i agree with the gentleman about all the cookies ancestry .com sets. i counted 13 cookies the last time i tried to log on. i want to get on line NOT ACCEPT COOKIES ALL TIME..i have CANCELED my subscription with them. what's on my computer is MY business
Thanks for the offer. However ancestry.com mandates that cookies are being set to log onto their site. They assure everybody these are being set only for User Logon and being used properly. There is no reason for ancestry.com to be setting cookies and reading a file on YOUR computer. They are not registering you but they are registering you computer. Other pages such as amazon.com, united.com, delta-air.com do not mandate cookies but keep their own data on their own computers. WHY is ancestry.com having to read a file on YOUR computer???? Why don't they set up a database on their computer when they have a lot of knowledge concerning Database on THEIR computer? They probably are using the data correctly found on YOUR system but WHY do they have to do it that way????? To honor my German Halls who tried not to register, I cannot let Ancestry.com set cookies!!
