Caleb and Thornton Hall both enlisted in the Confederate Calvary in October of 1861 in Caldwell County Kentucky. Does anyone have a Caleb or Thornton in that area? I believe they may be related to my Henderson Hall since they all enlisted on the same day at the same place and served in the same company. Sincerely Rodney Hall Subknave@msn.com

Have 6 Benjamin Halls, but none of them match your criteria. According to research by Roger Ryan, the origins of the Harrison Co., HALLs goes back to Allegany Co., MD and Elisha Hall ( my ancestor), Benjamin Hall, Moses Hall, and Richard Hall. Thery had come to Allegany Co. from Calvert Co., MD. They left Allegany Co. in the late 1700s and migrated to Harrison Co. Have extensive info on descendants of Elisha, but none on Benjamin who may have been brother of Elisha.
