    1. [HALL] Halls in SC to KY
    2. Hall researchers, William Hadder Hall was born in England in 1765, and came to Newberry Co.,SC. He married Susannah McMerty (abt.1767-abt.1801) about 1790 in Newberry Co.,SC. William and Susannah had 9 children and most came with them when they moved to Pulaski Co.,KY, around 1800. Susannah McMerty was born in Ireland and her parents, William McMerty and Mary Puckett, came from Ireland about 1774. In one book it showed "..Anthony was the father of Wm. H. Hall..." It may have been the same, I have not got any more data on that. Susannah Hall married Asa Roy in Pulaski Co.,KY and I have lots of data from then on. Tim Any cousins out there? Thanks. 3. Hi Tim, Thanks for responding. I had seen your query previously and thought about responding because there could be a connection. The only reason I was doubtful was the dates. Drury or Everhard's daughter Susannah was born in 1799 according to the documentation I have. It is cemetery information and may contain errors. Thanks for telling me about William Hadder Hall and Susannah McMerty. Did all of the children stay in Kentucky? Can you provide more data about the Halls that came into Kentucky? If so, we may become cousins if we can find a connection. Did I miss any? She was really pretty. I wish my mother could see this because she loved her so. I am going to try and find my pictures in storage. I don't have many because Grandma Lane's home burned and everything was lost except what she had given her married children. Artemissa married a farmer near Springfield and came one time in the 1920s on the train to see my gr grandfather Hall, George. They were close. That family may have information and photos but I am not near Springfield to pursue that. Grandpa's wife, Margaret Kaufman, was a lot younger but died young with pneumonia. She was rain soaked and it went into pneumonia. Mother said he greaved himself to death. I think she was about 55 or so when she died. Do you live near the area we are talking about. I used to live in Belleville and then Marissa Illinois but now I am in VA. Mother said our Halls came from VA. Do you know anything about that.
