Author: sweetkris41 Surnames: HALL Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.hall/5333.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi Diane, I know you posted this about 6 years ago, but I would love to chat about this with you. We perhaps could be related. I have been searching for information on this exact topic for years. My father was named William Raymond Hall (Bill) and all the fathers before him were William (name) Hall. Apparently all the middle names spell out WILDCARD, where the last D is my brother David. My father passed away 3 years ago this year.... he was raised in St. John & Moncton NB. He found out he was adopted in his 40's along with his sister Betty who also passed away before him. He was trying to figure out who his parents were and there seemed to be a bunch of different stories / mysteries that surrounded it. I would to chat with you about all this and see if we can help eachother. I hope this message reaches you. Your website no longer functions. Best wishes, Kristina Hall [email protected] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [HALL] Thomas Hall m. Laurana Holman, c. 1836 Tennessee
    2. Bob Klose
    3. Thomas Hall (14 Jan 1809 - 22 Feb 1899) was born in North Carolina, some say Halifax Co., and married Laurana (Lurana, Laurena, etc.) Holman about 1836, probably in Tennessee. Thomas named his first born son Pleasant Hall, so it is assumed that his father was also named Pleasant. One source has a family tale of Thomas Hall and his bride traveling to Carroll Co., Arkansas by ox cart. Does anyone know where in Tennessee Thomas may have come from?
