Texas Hadleys, I found a record of a Jessie C. Hadley, born 21 November 1890, died 29 June 1917, buried in Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Menard Co., Texas, located section 6, #70. This is not Jesse, son of James "Doll" Hadley and Mary Ann Hicks, and it is not Jesse Cornelius son of Jesse and Phebe (Smith) Hadley. It could be Jesse Cornelius, son of Samuel Hadley and Elizabeth Carroll. They married in 1879. Does anyone on the list know for sure who this is? His birthdate and death is not on the Hadley Society database.
