Barton? Hadley, b. ca 1817, GA, who was on the 1850 Edgefield Co, SC census with her three children. She was back in Richmond Co, GA on the 1860 census and was living with her daughter and son-in-law, America and Falworth W. Fitts, in Columbia Co, GA in 1870. I believe she was probably the wife of William R. Hadley who was on the 1840 Richmond Co, GA census as was a Davis B. Hadley, b. ca 1816, GA with his wife Isabella. Sarah had a son named Davis B. Hi I am stuck with a Hadley familly from Georgia arond that same frame. Have you encountered a Nancy Matilda or Matilda Nancy Hadley(probably married name) that suddenly disappeared round 1845? Was propably a widow or may have even left her husband. Had at least one son who's name was William. Any leads would help.
