A follow up to the note I sent about the Hadley books for sale at Higginson books: I have had several private responses, and everyone seems to have had a good experience with this company. Higginson apparently takes out of print / out of copyright books, and make quality photocopies, as they receive orders for them. I have been told they are of good quality and durable, though if you plan to handle them much, order the more durable binding. As they 'print to order', anticipate that it can take a few weeks to receive your order. Make sure you review the summaries carefully, to ensure getting the book you want. One lady suggested you can try looking at a library or microfilm copy first, to make sure the book will be something of use to you, and then order your own copy. Thanks for all the input!
