Hi Sherri, I know so little about this area that I hate to speculate. I think they just take a scraping inside the mouth, so who knows about the back of the stamp? Must be pretty dry by now!! You may have something in the hair though. If we get enough interest, it would be appropriate to use the HS web site for keeping score, so to speak. Thus far I have had a few cousins write and volunteer. We need a few moiré in the states and then work on England. Any Hadleys form England listening in? I would love to "jump the pond". Hi John, This 'English Hadley' has been listening in to the recent spate of messages with interest. Strictly speaking I am not a true Hadley, but a Hadley derivative - my paternal grandmother was a Hadley. My Hadley ancestors came from the english county of Gloucestershire. Some Gloucestershire Hadleys emigrated to New Zealand (I am in touch with some of their descendants) but I have no knowledge of any Gloucestershire Hadleys moving to the United States (which does not necessarily mean that there weren't any). If I can help in any way, I would be happy to do so.
