Norma, This is Ray Parker in Yadkin Co. NC. The marriage date for Abigal Hadley and Jacob Brown Jr. was 10/16/1814 in Surry Co. NC. to become Yadkin Co. NC in 1851. Abigal was born 9/14/1789 Surry Co. NC and died 2/1/1864., Jacob Brown Jr. was born 6/25/1785 in Surry Co. NC and died 11/23/1861. Jacob Brown b. 1785 was the son of Jacob Brown Sr. b. 11/14/1755 d. 6/9/1831 Henry Co. Ind and Mary Armsfield b. 3/29/1759 d. 1827/1828 Henry Co. Ind, Jacob Brown Sr. was the son of Thomas Brown and Margaret Moon from Buck co. Penn. I do not have the parents for Abigal Hadley. She was born before the establishment of the Deep Creek Monthly Meeting in Surry/Yadkin Co. NC in 1793, records are sketchy for our Quaker Ancestors here even after the meeting was established due to the loss of records in a fire. My Hadley Line is. Hi Ray, I've just really started the geneology stuff, but was excited to find out that we are distant cousins! Joshua and Patience's son (Simon's brother) Joseph is the ggggggrandfather for our line. We go down through Isaac, Joseph, Evan and Ivan C. If you have any more info here, I'd love to hear it. I may have some to help you too, but rember am a beginner. Also, have a few pictures with names that I can't fit in anywhere yet from Ivan's attic--Jonathon Hadley, his children Babbie?, Billie?, Billie?-Betty Jean Hadley (Blancard?)
