    1. [HADLEY] SoCal Meeting
    2. Sherri has invited you already, but here is a bit more detail PLEASE NOTE A CORRECTION in the time we start on Saturday. It is 10am not 1pm. Sherri offers her apologies! THE HADLEY SOCIETY Invites you to attend our 79th Annual Reunion Sep 22, 2001 - Whittier CA First Friends Church in Whittier, California 10am sharp until 3pm The Meeting is being held in September this year, instead of October, so that we might determine if the earlier date will enable more people to attend. More people are traveling in from out of town, and we have had requests for more time together. Based on that, we have also planned a get-together on Friday afternoon. During this time you can share stories, compare family information, get help getting started with research, etc. You don't have to make a reservation to attend however we DO NEED an approximate idea of numbers attending, so your RSVP would be helpful. The meeting on Saturday is traditionally a potluck. If you are coming from out of town, you may want to consider picking up KFC, sandwiches or something. If you need help with that, contact Terry McLean. We REALLY NEED to know how many to expect on Friday, so we can find a meeting place of the appropriate size. If you plan to attend on Friday afternoon, contact Terry McLean. NOTE that Friday's meeting will be in a different location - you must contact Sherri, John, or Terry for details. [addresses at the end of this message] If you are bringing children, there is a play-yard connected to the side of the church. However the Society is not providing any supervision or childcare. Check the website for any last minute information. Annual Dues can be paid to Alice at the meeting or mailed. If you need a mailing address, contact Terry, Sherri, or John. Once again we want to express our most profound appreciation to Martha Cush who, each year, makes all the arrangements for our meeting facility in Whittier. Thank You, Martha!
