Cindy, I don't have the answer to your question, but doing some 'creative sorting' on the database, here are some tidbits: The descendants of Simon Peter HADLEY and Sarah Benton DAVIS appear to be ones who lived in the Gregg co. area in the proper time frame. One of Simons' sons, Louis Christopher HADLEY was married to Elizabeth A. BOWEN. Benjamin HADLEY, s/o William and Sallie STUART HADLEY, had cousins named 'Amos' in his line. Unkown if Benjamin had a middle name. Other members of the William and Sallie family were known to be in Harrison Co TX in the right time period. Hoping this will give you a lead or two.     3. Cindy & Terry This Simon Peter Hadley family ended up in Limestone Co. TX & married into my family & others I am working on in Limestone Co. TX. After Simon Peter died Sarah Davis Hadley married a Thompson & was in Leon Co. TX for one census year. If this is the family you are looking for I would like to talk with you about it. Sarah Davis Hadley is buried in Ferguson Cem in Limestone Co. Tx in a un marked grave at the foot of her son Duncan Hadley who married my Grandmother's Sister. Also Harriet Hadley Roberts sister of Duncan is buried at Ferguson Cem. in Limestone Co. TX. Pat Oates in TX.
