The Monitor does not guarantee the accuracy of original content that now resides off its web site. Richard A. Hadley, PEMBROKE Thursday, January 2, 2003 PEMBROKE-Richard A. Hadley, 75, of Main Street died Tuesday at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Claremont, the son of Cleo and Annie (Pinette) Hadley and graduated from Stevens High School. He lived in Goffstown and Manchester before moving to Pembroke 10 years ago. Hadley worked for many years as a welder. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Kenneth Follansbee American Legion Post No. 37 in Hooksett. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors include two sons, John Hadley of Dunbarton and Darron Hadley of Phoenix, Ariz.; his daughter, Janet Hadley of New Boston; his sister, Barbara White of Dade City, Fla.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. Burial will be held at a later date at the state Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Hadley.
