Hi all! I have Simon & Catherine Talbot HADLEY as my 9th great grandparents. My AHNENTAFLE lists James and Jane Roswell HADLEY as Simon's parents with James b. 1614 Dublin, IRE. I can't say if this is without doubt as I'm not a stickler for documentation, but it'll give you a clue perhaps of what to look for.:) Elise In a message dated 2/4/2003 10:29:58 PM Eastern Standard Time, pdye@link2000.net writes: > I have Simon Hadley son of John (Theoretical) Hadley. It was written earlier that he was born about 1640, but I have seen no proof of this date. His wife Catherine died in 1710, and there is proof of this date. Please read the Hadley Society data base for more complete information about these ancestors. http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=hadbase&id=I1 Also, please look at the Hadley Society web site for the photo gallery and other great stuff http://www.hadleysociety.org/

I am sorry about your grandmothers death. I am also descended from Simon Hadley l and Simon II. on my Dad's side. But what I can't get over is that I was in Hillsboro, OH this summer for a Geisler family reunion, which was on my Mom's side. I am from Nebraska and had no idea I had relatives on both sides in Hillsboro, OH. This was my first trip to Ohio. Thank you for the information. Andrea Brown Storz Omaha, NE

She grew up in Hillsboro, Ohio, attending Wilmington Community College until she married Franklin Hadley in the 1940's. They had 3 children, Phillip A., Daniel B. (my father) and Rebecca A. Phillip and Daniel live in Albuquerque, NM while Rebecca lives in Indianappolis, Indiana where Rhoda also lived. Its so hard to contact all the Hadley family to let them know of this loss...I thought it would be fitting to post a message on the board in case anyone would have checked. This Hadley family is descended from Simon I and Simon II.
I'm also interested in Hadleys as I bought a house in Guysborough which was built in the late 1800s by a Hadley who was also a descendant of the original Joseph Hadley. Corey's family is from Randolph/Jamestown NY. Corey is about age 25. Was stationed in Alamagordo, New Mexico until about 1999. Corey and Heather have one daughter, Mariah, age 5 or 6. Mariah's birthday is in March, Heather's is in possibly May. Last known whereabouts was NY with Corey's family on their farm. Last known to be seperated. Corey also has a cousin named Devon, stationed in Albequerque. They were very good friends of my daughter and her husband in New Mexico. Lindsay and Kris Hogan lost touch with them because their phone number and address were with belongings lost during a household move. They have been searching for them for almost 3 years. Any info regarding them or their family would be greatly appreciated. Lindsay and Kris have moved several times and therefore the Hadleys would not be able to find them either. Thanks Terri L.
