Author: sandee568 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.haddix/40.41.42.43.44.45.47/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello Donna,looks like we are searching for the same family.My Great grandmother was Sarah Haddix.She married James Hanson.I have searched until i get blue in the face and this is as close as i can get.Looking at the census for 1870 i find Sarah and James married and around them are John Haddix,Solomon Haddix,and Elizabeth Haddix,who i think was Williams wife,or it could be their sister.All of the Haddix are from Ohio.I also found on the 1850 census a Lady by the name of Christena who i believe was married to Samuel Haddix.They both are from Va.I am trying to tie all of them together.I do have the birth dates.I am going by the assumption the Haddix's i am looking at all went to Illinois from Ohio,but that the parents are from Va.Hopefully i will find that connection.The names i have so far are William ,David,Solomon,Enoch,Sarah,and Alfred.I have a gap in ages so i am pretty sure i am missing one.Anything sound familiar?
