My great grandfather was Floyd Ercel Haddix (1893-1990) his parents were James Wesley Haddix and Cora Lee Shelton of Taylor County or Randolph County, WV. (I think James' parents were David Haddix and Elizabeth Stansbury) Ercel wrote down a family list that included a first marriage of James but I do not know who. They had three kids, John Haddix, Alonzo Haddix, and Ella Haddix. James remarried Cora Lee Shelton and had at least 12 other kids. Floyd Ercel, Harry Raymond, Christina "Kathleene" Matilda, Ross Richmond, Goldie (died at birth), Jimmy (died as an infant), Claude Russell, Minnie Estalla, Hattie Idella (died as an infant), Percy Lee, Comeil Marie, and Queeny (Quincy). Floyd "Ercel" Haddix married Rue "Willa" Scott of Randolph County, WV in 1916. I believe they had 6 kids Rhea Vonda (my grandmother), Shirley, Themla, Russell, Vada, and Roy.
