Sorry guys, I goofed, forgot to say that I am trying to find out who my GREAT GRANDFATHER was. Re: Potstown area...I believe that that is where my Dad's ancestors are from-- His Father was JOHN GEORGE HAAS, son of yet another Haas, not sure of his name. (I wish I knew if he had brothers or sisters) married MARGARET McDevitt (of Lancaster, PA.) They had: John George Haas, Frederick Peter Haas (Born 10/16/11, in Rochester, NY passed away Sept 28, 1997), He married Mary Ackely Parke, They had Suzanne Phyfe Haas, Margaret McDevitt Haas, and Harriet Parke Haas. Charlotte ___ Haas, and Margaret ____ Haas. Grandfather Haas died when my Dad was young and John G. Haas, my grandfather, was around 50 at the time. My Uncle John G. Haas was Vice Pres. and General Counsel of Bethlehem Steel until he, too, died around 50 in the 60s. Hope someone knows something about my GREAT-Grandfather. John, Fred, Margie, and Charlottes grandfather. I know that he own a Uniform Company in Phil and New York called Haas Uniforms, made all uniforms for the armed forces, etc. Help, Harriet Haas Levesque
