Hi Ken, My name is Harriet Parke Haas Levesque, of Connecticut. I have two other sisters, Suzanne and Margaret. Margaret has always been called BUNNY, and Dad always told us that HAAS meant HARE. We are not Jewish, though people always asked if I was while I was growing up. My father's father was German Lutheran, and I was told that our branch of Haas came from the Nuremberg area. Had something to do with the Hussein (not sure of spelling) troops. My Dad was in the Navy during W.W.II. He was Frederick Peter Haas, born in New Rochelle, NY 10/16/11 and passed on September of 97.
