    3. Hi! The above are my maternal ggggrandparents, parents of my gggrand mother their dau Catherine Hass Mayberry m. Israel Mayberry on 27 Mar 1827 at Romney, Hampshire Co., Va. (now WV). Catherine's parents (subject above) were listed on the 1850 Census of Hampshire County. Catherine's children were listed as living in the household of their grandparents Peter & Mary as follows: Mary age 21; Thomas age 19; Sarah age 13. My ggrandfather was a sibling also, but, was living in the household of Susan Taylor listed as Francis age 16. He was again found on the 1860 census living in the household of Henry C. EARLY married to his oldest dau Mary E. EARLY age 19. On 1870 I find them living in Cass County, Missouri at Grand River Twp., next door were the Taylors again from Hampshire County, Va. (now WV). I am looking for info on death of Israel & Catherine and where buried in Hampshire Co., Va., more than likely. Need info on the children of Israel & Catherine. I have some info on Francis (my ggrandpa). Thanks, Frank Mayberry in Muskogee, Ok Joy & Bob Stefan wrote: > I assume the HAAS soundoff carries over to the HASS list too :) > > I have Gottlieb HASS, b. 22 Jan 1805 in Semlin, Poland (family en route from > Germany to Bessarabia, Russia), d. 22 Mar 1865 in Kulm, Bessarabia, m. 24 > Nov 1826 in Kulm to Louise PELZ, b. 4 May 1808 in Lubjen, Poland. > > I believe Gottlieb's parents were Peter HASS, b. 1765 (where in Germany?) > and Anna Dorothea ??? - probably born in Germany. > > Gottlieb and Louise had at least 12 children: > - Rosina, b. 26 Nov 1829 > - Wilhelmina, b. 24 Jan 1834, m.
