I am seeking information on the ancestors and descendants of Lewis (Louis) and Jacob Haas, who were born in Steinbach, Germany in 1830 & 1836, respectfully, and who came to the US about 1852, settling in Saratoga Springs NY. Their parents were Kaspar Haas and his wife, Anna Katharina Kramer. Louis married Mary A. Normile in Saratoga County NY. They had the following children: Charles John Haas b. @ 1856 Margaret A. Haas b. Oct 1859 m. Andrew J. King Carrie Haas b. 1863 m. James Donnelly Charlotte Haas b. 1866 d. 1866 Philip Henry Haas b. 1867 d. 1870 Katharine Haas b. 1871 d. `873 Louis Augustus Haas b. 1872 m. Carrie Nichols Jacob Haas married Catherine Conroy. Their children were: John E.Hays b. ? Rose C. Haas b. 1871 d. 1961 m. Merritt VanAernem Jacob later married Ellen Martin.
