He might have had a sister Anna. Around 1880 he married Ludomia ( Ludovica ) Haas, who was of German and Roman Catholic background. Wasyl settled with his family at Lemberg, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1903. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, but did he convert on marriage?
